This fun AskReddit thread has people describing their most notable encounters with individuals that showed all signs of having a terribly loose grasp on how the real world works. Some folks really just fall through the cracks. It's on us to either try to help them out when we cross paths with them, or provide the brutal reality check. And hey, you never know if you'll find yourself being the person who doesn't know some bit of common sense that everyone else seems to have figured out.
